QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Operation Leaders to join our teams at Afyon and Eskişehir cement plants.

As Operation Leader at Çimsa, you will be responsible for:

• To ensure that clinker and cement production is carried out within the framework of determined quality standards and in accordance with customer expectations,
• Ensuring the complete implementation of OHS practices in the area of ??responsibility,
• Ensuring the quantitative accuracy of the inputs and outputs in the production activity
• To follow up by making the variable budget of the area she/he is responsible for,
• To ensure the continuity of the operation with raw material, environment, OHS and Quality Leaderships,
• To organize alternative raw material and alternative fuel works with relevant departments within the scope of sustainability,
• To organize production and maintenance activities according to S&OP Studies,
• Leading the continuous improvement activities and 5S projects of the relevant facility
• To determine the investment needs of the relevant facility and to organize the necessary studies,
• To follow and report the KPIs of the facility he is responsible for, to work to increase the efficiency of the operation and to improve the KPIs,
• To lead the team under him and to ensure that the team is managed effectively,
• Managing sub-contractors and making progress payments. Root Cause Analysis of customer complaints and nonconformities and determining and implementing necessary actions.

Desired Skills and Specializations

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

• Graduated from Chemical Engineering Mining Engineering departments of universities,
• Preferably with a graduate degree in a related field,
• At least 5 years of experience in the cement industry,
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
• Team management skills, high problem solving skills,
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Office programs
• Have good command of English,
• Those who are/will be residing in Afyon.
• Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma, 5S and statistical analysis
• Establish effective communication and cooperation with stakeholders inside and outside the organization,
• Result oriented and proficient in basic management skills.
