Job Detail

• Management of all application servers and middleware components in the on site OMWO infrastructure
• Improve the monitoring system to track the full flow of each request from the client to micro-services
• Conducting development, test, staging (pre-prod) environments required to develop and test new functions
• Create and configure cloud based or on-prem environments and services
• Engage in software performance analysis and system tuning
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Monitoring and logging live systems, analyzing the performance and the capacity of infrastructure
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decision

Desired Skills and Specializations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 2 year experience in Linux administration
• Installing, maintaining and monitoring on-premise server side operations and applications
• Minimum 2 year experience in a DevOps role (Having knowledge in Mobile DevOps is bonus)
• Experience in managing applications on Kubernetes (Having knowledge in HAProxy, NGINX, Minio, Nexus or other cloud native systems is bonus)
• Experience in system configuration and related scripting for pipeline automation
• Experience in system design, sizing, provisioning and implementation (Having knowledge in message broker systems is bonus)
• Good understanding on system/software development lifecycle (SDLC) techniques and industry-standard agile practices
• Technical English proficiency
