Job Definition

We are looking for IT Service Desk Specialist for our multinational customer that has been operating for more than 500 years in logistics and trasport area worldwide.

  • Formal degree in computer engineering/computer sciences,
  • Assisting installations and management of new PC’s printers, servers,
  • Direct contact with the branch managers and central IT support services,
  • Ability to making yearly and annual reports to central IT and branch managers,
  • Ability to understand local programs and teach the newcomers accordingly,
  • Keeping fixed asset report,
  • CCNA level network knowledge,
  • Performing standard maintenance,
  • Analyze the failed equipment and taking the appropriate action,
  • Logging the support calls and manage the tickets with the ITSM ticket system,
  • Proficient in windows 10 and windows server 2016,
  • Good phone and email etiquettes

Qualifications

  • Assisting IT support process,
  • Filtering/collating incidents. - working out solutions,
  • Recognising recurring incidents. - creating, monitoring Tickets, informing the user of the solution,
  • Adding value by analysing/enriching the user requests before sending them to central IT-Services (instead of acting as a “postman”),
  • Recording and maintaining master data in the main applications (according to portfolio),
  • Planning & carrying out IT Basic training for new members of staff ,
  • Assistance & support for IT relevant projects in the branch, e.g. software implementation, new customers, new products .
