The ocean customer service agent ensures timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within Ocean Department. The ocean customer service agent is an entry or upper level position responsible for processing expot and import shipments within a highly systems oriented environment. He or she will be expected to develop the skills necessary to deal with local business issues, process shipments in a global system, and work with overseas offices. The successful candidate needs to be process oriented with the ability to handle multiple task in a high stress environment.
Education of university is a must. English both written and spoken is a must.
Having 1 year of logistics or similar industry experience is preferable.
You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You must have a professional attitude and attire and be able to accept and exemplify Expeditors' unique culture.
Displayed sense of urgency, attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities, working well under pressure.
Strong sense of confidentiality.
