The Team Our Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) Business Development (BD) team has as its remit to deliver on the sales and growth agenda across 12 geographic and sector based segments. The SAP Alliance team brings together professionals who have extensive knowledge in working for and with SAP and in delivering SAP programs. The BDEs are a core part of this team working to drive opportunities jointly with SAP, work with EY account teams to leverage relationships to sell propositions and to position EY within SAP. Role and Responsibilities

The EMEIA BD team is looking for a high-calibre BDE in the Central CSE (Central and South East Europe) region. The individual will drive the SAP sales agenda, liaising closely with account team leadership in executing the sales strategy. This is a high-visibility position, providing a challenging opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a deep understanding of the consulting and technology sales cycles. The main responsibilities of this role include\:
  • Deliver on the annual Regional SAP sales and pipeline targets
  • Focus on Alliance sales-plays pipeline generation and closing within EY account teams and SAP account executives
  • Promote SAP understanding of EY capabilities aligned to specific SAP packages to ensure that EY is the partner of choice
  • Educate EY account teams on SAP offerings, joint go-to-market, and provide coaching on key pursuits

Reporting Responsibilities Joint reporting to the Regional Business Development Leader, Regional ITA Advisory Leader and EMEIA SAP Practice Leadership


  • 12 years of large deal sales experience in a technology environment including an ability to successfully coach teams through the sales cycle
  • Strong track record (well-known name) within the SAP community (being part of this community will be an advantage)
  • Intimate understanding of SAP’s organizational structure, offerings and the role of consultancies in implementing their packages
  • Executive presence and an ability to influence account executives across organizations to win selected opportunities and mutually enhance the alliance
  • Excellent problem solving skills and strong commercial acumen
