Job Definition

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Plan, organize and manage the accounting policies and activities of the company;

· Preparation of annual financial statements under National Accounting Standards;

· Play key role in a process of Microsoft Dynamics Logo implementation;

· Establishes the financial-accounting documents circuit in the organization;

· Responsible for the preparation of the yearly planning:

o estimate all necessary expenses based on booked costs, subscriptions in progress or information communicated by the board;

o calculation of the turnover based on sales quantities communicated by sales department

o calculation for the cost of goods

o preparing the annual profit and loss and analyzing the yearly EBT/Turnover together with the board

· Responsible for profit and loss monthly reporting:

o responsible for booking all cost categories in the accounting software

o calculates/includes in the monthly reports accruals for costs not received yet but estimated to be done

o mapping the local charts of account with the P&L positions

o keeping track of the differences (in plus or in minus) of all P&L positions versus planned figures and preparing explanations for them

· Open items/receivables monthly reports:

· Book all incoming payments from customers

· Book/keeps record of all financial instruments (cheques, promissory notes, etc.)

· Prepare a situation for each customer with: customer name, invoice number, invoice date, invoice due date, amount, remaining amount

· Conducting the aging situation

· Informs the board of all delays; propose actions to recover the amounts

Qualifications

University degree

Very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must;

At least 3 years of previous experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant

Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, National Accounting Standards, financial, and tax legislation;

Experience with VAT and Intrastat reporting;

Excellent communication and organizational skills;

Action oriented, attention to details and accuracy - analytical thinking;

Ability to work with strict and tight deadlines;

Responsibility, loyalty and professional attitude to work;

Experienced user of Microsoft applications and ERP systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Logo would be considered as а strong advantage;

Experience in an international environment is also a plus
