ID Consultancy - Business Controller

Job Definition

Our client which is one of the global manufacturers of commercial vehicles and engines/power systems is looking for a Business Controller to be responsible for the preparing and controlling the overall financial planning, budgeting, analyses, sales and costs together with the relevant stakeholders and departments.

Main Responsibilites:

  • Monthly and yearly IFRS/BCS closing operations according to Group Reporting instructions, guidelines and deadlines.

  • Preparation of yearly and revised budgets by communicating with the relevant stakeholders and departments

  • Contribute to the management control system by coordinating, executing and follow-up the Financial Plans (Business Plan and Forecast/-s), on regular basis to perform analyses and issue financial reports

  • Sales and Profitability follow up of all RT products by monitoring the financials(NS, GP, provisions, deviation analysis)

  • S&A and Investment follow up

  • Pre & post evaluation of business activities and investments; support management by compiling information and analyses; prepare recommendations with profitability analyses for final decision

  • Perform additional scenario and ad hoc analysis

  • Controlling and filing all the exceptional cases such as negative deals to be stored and secured under common folders

  • Continuous communication with HQ (general audios, transfer pricing, order book)

  • Responsible from 3 way match of Truck sales from various systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in a multinational within area of business control

  • Current knowledge of technical accounting standards, IFRS and Corporate & VAT tax

  • Knowledge of internal and external financial control environment

  • Good communication skills

  • Capable of evaluating the cases and reports to management team accordingly

  • Capable meeting the deadlines and working under time pressure

  • Hardworking and make sure of working according to corporate compliance rules

  • Capable of questioning and investigating the current situation

  • Critical thinking and experienced examples of taking lead in initiatives/projects

  • Fair commercial understanding combined with good judgment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French is a plus

  • Analytical skills

  • System knowledge, SAP and Navision is a plus

  • Good command of MS Office applications
