Job Definition

We are looking for an “Export Sales Manager” for our client; a global industrial company with products distributed to more than 70 countries. The role will be based in Istanbul Turkey Head Office that is located on the European side.


  • Drives the organization to reach a profitable business development growth by establishing strong strategic partnerships with Key accounts (Distributors, Partners or / and End Customers),

  • Expands the number of export markets by means of generating leads for new business for B2B networks,

  • Builds and implements key account plans (business potential, contact lists, competition, value proposition and action plan),

  • Leads complex contract negotiations for B2B Key accounts,

  • Follows up the orders, stock status, dispatching and payments of all the customers, monitors and organizes the sales process by working in coordination with planning, production and dispatching departments,

  • Sustains an efficient communication by carrying out periodical visits to the customers in the region, organizes factory visits and introductory trainings for prospects and clients,

  • Identifies and involves in customer development activities such as trade show, fairs and exhibitions, conferences, trainings and enlarge customer portfolio by taking active role to find out new customers,

  • Prepares market research to initiate new sales channels & trend analysis and reports,

  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.


  • Bachelor’s or a higher degree in Mechanical Engineering,

  • Minimum 10 years of channel development and sales management experience in the HVAC, Pumping, Valve, Mechanical Installation Products or a similar industry,

  • Proven sales achievement / track record in Export sales,

  • Wide knowledge in exportation, customs and shipping standards and processes,

  • Excellent command of written & oral English,

  • Good command of Chinese, Russian, German, French, as a second language is an asset,

  • Results-driven,

  • Teamwork skills, being hardworking and solution-oriented way of thinking,

  • Good inter-personal relations, strong communication skills for building relationships,

  • Excellent analytical, reporting and presentation skills,

  • Living in European side of Istanbul,

  • Having no obstacles to travel abroad frequently,

  • No military obligation for male candidates.
