    To be responsible for the proper maintenance of the physical plant, engineering facilities, all electrical and mechanical equipment, kitchen equipment, controls, fire safety systems, the interior and exterior of the entire resort and other items pertaining to the operation of the hotel according to FLHSS&E standards and procedures.
    To set, follow up and lead FLHSS&E meetings with department heads in order to finalize successfully all requirements regarding to the audit expectations.
    To manage the engineering staff by promoting teamwork, efficiency, quality, productivity and cost sensitiveness.
    To develop departmental training programmes according to needs and Safe, Sound and Sustainable requirements and ensure training carried out is recorded in the training matrix.
    To develop and maintain inspection, repairs and maintenance for all building components.
    To establish and supervise the preventative maintenance programmes.
    To establish a training programme for the mechanical/electrical equipment operators.
    To make written recommendations to the Chief Engineer about replacement of inefficient or obsolete equipment.
    To ensure that all personnel are trained in the fire and life safety procedures.
    To take responsibility for the employment of subcontractors and for their compliance to the hotel rules and regulation while performing repairs and maintenance work within the hotel premises.
    To provides technical “know how” when required by engineering personnel.
    To ensures that the record of equipment card system is kept up-to-date.
    To carry out spot checks ensuring that the works as detailed in the work order has been executed in the most practical, skillful and economical manner.
    To provide input in preparing the annual repairs and maintenance, heat, light and power budgets.
    To update the preventive maintenance plan on monthly basis.
    To take responsibility for the coordination of the guestroom PPM in conjunction with the Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Manager.

    It provides the contact information in case of emergency and for questions on the bulletin boards. Beach flags are used in the standards of ILS (International Safety of Life) by lifeguards.

    Lifeguards wears red hat, yellow t-shirt and red shorts according to the ILS and TSSF standards at the beaches and pools Checks swimming areas and piers continuously.

    Identifies sharp and damaging objects on the beach area, nails, splinters, rusted and mossy stairs on the sunbathing piers, writes a report and informs technical service and housekeeping departments.

    Informs Security Manager about the event and persons in case violation of beach or pool rules persists and any accidents taking place in their area of responsibility.

    Responds first and informs Hotel Doctor in case of an accident, injury or insect sting.

    Responds first to the drowning person in all kinds of pool and sea accidents and drowning incidents.

    When the boats or water sports vehicles violate the swimming area of guests, warns those who violate and make sure they get out of this area.

    It warns to children if they joke with one another in a dangerous way in the children's pool.
