Levi Strauss & CO - Accountant (Record To Report)

Job Definition

Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for the assigned RTR processes (accounting for various processes including Fixed Assets / Deferred Revenue / Intercompany / Professional Services / Opex Accruals / Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Bank / Treasury / Payroll / Pension / Direct Tax / VAT, US Gaap etc.), ensuring timeliness, accuracy and quality of work / reports
  • Supervise and follow up to ensure all reporting activities are executed timely, accurately and with the required quality
  • Perform Integrated operation with FP & A team
  • Ensure knowledge and expertise is maintained, developed and exchanged within the team (including cross-training)
  • Conduct and manage the process under the company principles and procedures
  • Experienced of the tax legislations and practices, balance sheet, income statement preparations and analysis, all kind of tax returns preparations and applications
  • Ensure that the proper resources (workflow tools, applications etc.) are in place to support the processes
  • Performing and managing workload to ensure dead lines are met in accordance with the corporate timetable
  • Reporting of treasury transactions

Qualifications

  • University degree from related departments
  • Minimum 5 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience preferably in retail company
  • Knowledge of AP, AR, general bookkeeping procedures, accounting principals
  • Accounting qualifications will be a plus (CA, CPA, ACCA)
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications especially Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation and thoroughness
  • Information management & problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Good level of both written and spoken English
  • Be team member and owner of his tasks
  • Willingness to work within flexible working hours if required
