QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Maya Medical is a UK based medical tourism company with offices in London and Istanbul. We specialize in arranging hair transplants, plastic surgery and dental treatments for patients travelling from all over the world. We're looking for a passionate International Patient Coordinator with the following qualifications to work in our Istanbul field office;

Requirements:

· Native or Advanced level of English (will be tested)

· Second European language i.e. German, Spanish or Italian

· Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Ability to take initiative and solve problems

· Advanced negotiation skills

· Presentable and confident

· Ability to communicate effectively with our surgeons, nurses and the hospital staff

· Willing to work around flexible hours including early mornings

· A very strong work ethic

· Ability to communicate easily with the patients while they’re in Turkey and upon their return home

Job Description:

Reporting to the manager you will manage patients by;

· Communicating with patients before their arrival in Istanbul

· Arranging the patients’ hotel stay and their transfers from the hotel to the hospital and clinic

· Guiding patients throughout their stay in Istanbul, including from the hotel to the hospital and clinic

· Assisting patients and translating the necessary information to both the patients and doctors

· Working alongside our nurse and managing their schedule

· Communicating clearly the required information to the patients and the doctors

· Keeping in touch with the patients upon their return home
