Job Definition

COST ACCOUNTING CONTROLLER

Cost Accounting Controller will manage all aspects of financial operations for accounts payable, cost accounting and fixed assets accounting functions in a high growth and dynamic environment. You are expected to implement and oversee efficient, well-controlled financial transaction processing systems for accounts payable, cost accounting and fixed assets accounting.

You will also partner with Purchasing, Supply Chain and Operations functions to improve efficiency and controls around purchase to pay and inventory cycles.

Responsibilities

Lead Costing and Accounts Payable to achieve efficient and well-controlled financial operations.

Lead P2P (purchase to pay) improvement initiative to improve effectiveness and controls.

Ensure that sufficient internal controls are in place to safeguard inventory and fixed assets and detect misappropriation timely.

Influencing Purchasing, Supply Chain and Operations functions to ensure continuous assessment of the compliance and effectiveness of control environment for P2P, FA and Inventory cycle and taking necessary actions to enhance controls.

Preparation and ownership of related lines (payables, inventory, prepayments) for cash flow forecasting.

Efficient closing of relevant sub-ledgers for timely and accurate month end closing process.

Provide relevant & reliable information and reports to all stake holders within the specified time frame.

Prepare and review completeness of reconciliations, accruals, reserves in relation accounts payable and inventory cycles to ensure the accuracy of financial statements during month end closing.

Qualifications


Requirements

Strong background in financial operations.

Knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS is a plus.

English fluency.

Excellent knowledge of MS tools as well as ERP systems, Logo Tiger experience is a plus.

Strong team and people management skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Ability to influence others and resolve areas of ambiguity.

Ability to own and drive a change agenda.

Build effective relationships cross-functionally and influence direct customer groups.

Ability to coach and develop others.
