Job Definition

About the role:

As part of the translation team, you will revise and translate documents from Turkish into English and vice versa.


Translation and Revision of texts/documents in medical, legal and technical fields, using CAT tools.

Work in a team environment to meet the short-term (daily, weekly) and long-term (monthly, yearly) requirements of the various projects requiring translation and revision work.

Meet deadlines and ensure quality according to the Saylon quality standards.

Participate in process improvement projects affecting the translation workflow.


Bachelor degree from reputable University in Languages or Translation ( mandatory).

Master degree will be a plus.

Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience working as a reviser/translator in the field of medical, technical, legal or marketing documentation.

Language skills: excellent knowledge of the mother tongue and very good command of English.

Any other EU language would be a plus.

Good knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications (e.g. MS Office, production applications etc.).

Practical experience in using CAT Tools (e.g. Trados Studio, XTM, etc.).

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Excellent self-organization skills.
