Siemens Enerji - Repair Specialist

Job Definition

For our Industrial applications group for the new company “Siemens Energy” in Ankara, we are looking for a Repair Specialist who will be reporting to the Field Service Manager.

  • Be the technical specialist for products repaired & overhauled in the Service Center; act as the key interface between the Service Center and the Technical Support organization in the region and supported product lines; ensure work is executed in line with published standard work instructions and repair standards both in-house and with the support of subcontractors
  • Ownership for service center operations
  • Performing all scheduled/unscheduled maintenances works on Siemens Energy Industrial Steam Turbines.
  • Prepare and check tools, parts and equipment required for the execution of work.
  • Site preparation and align site activities with subcontractors.
  • Preparation of service reports and test records.
  • Develop strong relationships and interface with our customers as well as counterparts in Turkey and regional headquarters.
  • Comply with the Siemens Energy standard EHS process and quality standards.
  • Championing and leading continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Vocational School Degree in Mechanical Technician.
  • 5 years of experience in field service and repair environment.
  • Good understanding of technical drawings, machining processes and repair standards are essential.
  • Strong hands-on experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of and working experience with rotating equipment especially steam turbines and compressors would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken in English
  • A good command of the Turkish and English language; both written and verbal communication is essential
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High regard for quality, health, and safety systems.
  • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for intensive traveling.
  • Military service should have been completed for male candidates.
