Job Definition

To lead the Sales Efforts and to develop business in existing and new power plant installations like; I&C Modernization, Upgrade, and digitalization opportunities in existing power plants or Automation and Electrical project opportunities in new built power plants.

• Secure and exceed annual Order Entry Targets

• Generate and evaluate sales leads, demonstrate Growth in pipeline and develop new business

• Responsible for the whole sales process, from opportunity identification through to contract signature and handover to the delivery group.

• Collaborate with other Siemens Energy business and countries to deliver offers and solutions to meet the customer’s needs.

• Lead approvals processes in the business, liaising with operational departments to agree the best solution for the customer

• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments.

• Provide accurate sales forecasts for assigned accounts.

• Build network and participate in relevant conferences and trade fairs, both locally and internationally

• To empathize with Customer viewpoint and identify key drivers that add customer value.

• Drive regular knowledge exchange on strategy and portfolio with Product and Solution Sales, Service Delivery and Customer Services Headquarter.

• Perform market analysis, follow market trends, and maintain Siemens Energy’s trendsetter position

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline is preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience ideally within the Energy / Power Market in a sales role

• Understanding of Industrial Control Systems and their applications

• Experience with End Customer & EPC, preferably in automation solutions at power generation sector.

• Competitive awareness and a working knowledge in DCS, TCS, Simulator, PLC, and electrical systems.

• Experience with Siemens DCS products and/or large scale DCS’s will be highly regarded.

• Knowledge and experience on Power Plant Electrical Systems i.e., Excitation, Protection will be an advantage.

• Experience in sales of electrical balance of plant solutions in power generation plants (combined cycle, coal, geothermal, hydro, etc) including, medium voltage, low voltage, DCS solutions will be an advantage

• Collaborative, solution focused approach, and proactive communication skills.

• Excellent command of English language

• Analytical thinking, decision making, change orientation and good communication skills

• Ability to drive and travel intensively around the country
