Maintenance Engineer

HAMBURGER TURKEY KAĞIT ÜRETİM VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. - Maintenance Engineer

For our Paper Mill in Corlu, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer. This role will be responsible for;

• Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety, risk management, environment, health, and regulatory rules,
• Implement and improve the existing maintenance system (planned & breakdowns & preventive-predictive) according to department targets and company group standards,
• Ensuring that all maintenance operations are carried out smoothly by managing and directing the maintenance teams,
• Budget control of maintenance expenses and spare parts,
• Lead maintenance team in case of need for subsuppliers,
• Coordinating complex maintenance and assembly processes,
• Identifying energy savings and opportunities, contributing to sustainability,
• Setting department sub-goals from company goals and determining department KPIs,
• Identify and plan the teams' training requirements and increase their competencies.

• University degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• At least 2 years of work experience as a maintenance engineer in a production area,
• Good communication skills in English,
• Knowledge of Autocad and MS Office Programs,
• Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and heat systems is an asset,
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuit elements and control systems,
• Having a strong creative with an analytical mind,
• Experience in blue-collar management,
• Ability to discover and implement innovative approaches,
• Have the ability to coordinate,
• Having a B Class driving license
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• No travel restrictions,
• Preferably, resident in Corlu.
