Job Detail TURKBINE Technic which is owned Zorlu O&M and THY Technic(50/50), has been established to provide shop level maintenance services to LM Series Gas Turbines and CF6 Aircraft Turbines and their modules (HPT,HPC and Combustor). New born company will combine THY Technic's 30 year experience and Zorlu O&M's 10 year experience on this area. Maintenance activities has been accomplished in facility that is located in Istanbul. Turkbine has been providing maintenance services including hot section refurbishment, repair and full overhaul services. Its workscope covers disassembly, assembly, NDI, piece part inspection, balance, grinding, repair processes (welding, heat treatment, coating, plasma spray etc.) accessory test/overhaul and CF6 engine test.
Technical responsibility for the engine during shop visit, ensuring full compliance with technical aspects of both the applicable Aviation Authorities and Turbine Centre and Customers requirements while supporting the business interests of the Turbine Centre.
Perform work in compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, attend quality related training, and at all time comply with the company quality policy.
Provide overall technical support and direction for the teardown, inspection, repair, modification, assembly and test of engines undergoing repair and refurbishment. Assist in Engineering and Operator Training for responsible processes and or products when required.
Perform the CF6-80 series Configuration works
Assist customer support with customer technical inquires, Finance with fixed price determination and Sales for the preparation of proposals. Administer technical investigations as required and support other departments as required.
Develop and refine processes for assigned products (or processes) resulting improvement in costs, productivity, and turn around time (TAT)
Involve the Continuous Improvement principles throughout the process, coordinate projects adding value to TURKBINE and to the customer.Create ,maintain and follow documentation required to overhaul aircraft engines and their modules. Includes but not limited to Engine Work scope, Engine Maintenance Programme, Engine Work package, etc. Preparation and revising of workscopes.
Following of ADs , Mandatory modifications, programs and alert service bulletins. Following of SBs.
Preparation of AD Status (Delivery documents), LLP Status (Delivery documents), Shop Visit Reports and Gate 1/Teardown Reports.
To asses new technical data from the engine manufacturer, airworthiness authorities and follow up with necessary documentation.
Shop floor and production support and hence to try and solve technical problems in connection with engine overhaul communicate technical issues and experience with the OEM and customers. Evaluate procedures to analyze and improve the overhaul of aircraft engines in accordance with guidelines given by the FAA and EASA. Produce necessary follow up documents to communicate the engine condition and engineering conclusions of an engine or module shop visit. Active in engineering aspects of the test cell through Test program definition; monitoring test trends. Desired Skills and Specializations

• Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university
• Fluent English proficiency- speaking and writing
• Extensive experience in aircraft engine repair/ overhaul (over 5 years)
• Advanced level of communication, team working , problem solving and analytical skills .
