Core Activities:

• Lead and grow a multicultural engineering team focused on the digital aspects of the Haier Europe manufacturing platforms and technologies.
• Design, coordinate, and implement programs related to digitalization in manufacturing.
• Drive the gathering of needs, propose solutions, and investigate the introduction of new technologies.
• Identify and design opportunities by continuously mapping state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and processes (AS-IS Mapping, component traceability, production declaration digitalization of workstations, reporting and analytics, advanced analytics projects such as digital twins of factories, predictive maintenance, VR, etc.).
• Stimulate and identify opportunities to eliminate non-value-added processes and align with technical experts on IT solutions for improvement projects.
• Promote the standardization level achieved and contribute to further improvement and extension.
• Act as an interface between local productions, the central engineering department, and suppliers for digital topics.
• Guarantee adoption of new processes and tools in collaboration with local managers and HR by defining best practices and supporting training.
• Oversee the development and introduction of new products: define, develop and deliver the required tools in time with the project.
• Technology selection and supplier management.

• Fluent English knowledge.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering field (software, computer).
• Software architecture knowledge: MES (MOM), SAP, SCADA-IGNITION, OPC, SQL, C#, Cloud, Data Architecture.
• Project management skills.
• Experience in driving digital transformation programs.
• Experience in developing innovation roadmaps: discovering, defining, and delivering.
• Interest in new technologies, cloud and IoT solutions, bleeding-edge technologies, hands-on attitude, good communication skills.
• Availability to travel.
