DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Gayrettepe is looking for an experienced Food and Drink Manager to lead all Food and Drink operations, deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, and drive operational and financial performance.

In this role, you will ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, lead and develop our Team Members, and combine operational excellence with strong commercial results.

What will I be doing?

As the Food and Drink Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Food and Drink outlet operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also manage, train, and develop Team Members while operating within budgeted guidelines.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of all Food and Drink outlets
• Maintain exceptional levels of Guest service and satisfaction
• Ensure full compliance with Hilton brand standards
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop the Food and Drink team
• Respond to Guest queries and feedback in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
• Manage food, beverage, and payroll costs within budgeted guidelines
• Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with the Culinary and Food and Drink teams on menu development
• Ensure that monthly stock counts and inventory controls are completed accurately
• Motivate Team Members to maximise sales and revenue
• Conduct regular performance reviews and support the continuous development of Team Members
• Evaluate Guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
• Conduct departmental communication meetings and maintain effective communication across the team
• Develop strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with other departments
• Comply with hotel security and fire regulations, as well as all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety legislation
• Promote environmentally responsible practices throughout the department.

To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following attitudes, behaviours, skills, and values:

• Previous management and/or supervisory experience in Food and Drink operations
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an international hotel chain
• Proven ability to achieve financial and operational targets
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
• Ability to maintain and consistently deliver Hilton brand standards
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating Team Members
• A Guest-focused, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and results-driven in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent personal presentation and professional grooming standards
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service

It would be advantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions;

• A degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
• A good command of written and spoken English
• Experience with hotel point-of-sale and property management systems
• Knowledge of current Food and Drink trends, menu development, and revenue-generating initiatives.
