Job Description

Prepare Monthly Financial Statements in full compliance of statutory purposes and IFRS to improve productivity in providing timely and accurate Financial Statements for Holding companies


Identify/implement and continuously improve internal controls that ensure accurate reporting and proper safeguarding of company assets domestically and in abroad.

Work closely with ERP consultants to ensure preparation of SHE, F/A and CoGS Movement Schedules (accurate product costing determination is hugely crucial),

Identify errors and control deficiencies. Understand and communicate the downstream impact on the business of control deficiencies. Identify and recommend cost savings and improvement opportunities. Assist management with the development of corrective action plans and follow-up on completion of corrective action plans.


Prepare Cash-Flow Statements and assure monthly budget figures based on Cash-Flows, make comparisons with budgeted, forecasted and actual figures in line with monthly rolling models as well as apply the same methodology for Financial Statements,


Control efficiently and effectively Cost of Goods Manufactured, Cost of Goods Sold, and Operational Expenses of Holding companies,

Support Financial and Commercial Due Diligences via modeling including Operating Free Cash Flows, Net Working Capital Requirements and Discounted Cash Flow analysis etc.,

Required Skills and Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Business Engineering or other related disciplines of reputable universities

2-4 yrs. of experience with adequate audit background is a must (with production company assignments (especially in big four will be a preference),

Excellent knowledge of IFRS is a must, High degree of analytical mind besides problem solving skills and the ability to make reliable, objective judgments and proposals,

Excellent written and spoken English, a confident and concise communicator who has experience of dealing with both finance and non-finance management

To hold a CPA/SMMM degree is an advantage,

IT literate in MS Office Applications (especially in excel, VBA knowledge would be an asset), Knowledge of ERP systems would an asset,

Business awareness/production processes knowledge (familiarity with retail & textile sector is an asset),

Excellent in relation management and able to communicate in an effective and efficient manner with all levels of staff and upper management (within the department and interdepartmental),

Position requires in depth experience especially in Cost Accounting, Financial Planning, Business Analysis, Product Profitability Assessment and Project Evaluation,

Excellent Time Management Skills and familiar to work with strict deadlines, Very good command of planning, organizing and coordinating skills,

Location will be based at HQ in Istanbul.
