Job DescriptionAs a ETL Developer you will be responsible to develop and maintain ETL processes to load,cleanse and validate data, review and analyse existing SQL quaries for performance improvement. You will be working with ODI as ETL tool, Oracle 12c as DWH backends, MS SQL server, My SQL,Oracle, google Big Query as source system DB’s. You will be working with Oracle Business Intelligence EE (OBIEE) and Power BI to develop BI reports and dashboards. You will be working Oracle BI Publisher to develop data model and delivery documents and reports to customers. Also you will be working with python to extract data to google Big Query.You will be responsible troubleshooting and resolving issues with DWH.
Required Skills and ExpertiseWe are looking for:
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on development of ETL functions
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on development of BI reports and models
- At least 4 years working experience with data in a financial services environment
- Knowledge of at least one ETL tool such as (ODI prefered),SSIS,
- Strong hands-on SQL experience for the purposes of interrogating data
- Experience with BI reporting tools such as (OBIEE prefered), PowerBI, Tableau
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher tool
- Experience of different data modelling paradigms, such as Kimball dimensional models and/or 3NF data modelling approaches for data warehousing
- Good understanding of underlying data sources and data warehousing principles
- Knowledge of at least one scriptin language such as (Python prefered),java
- Knowledge of IFRS17 is prefered
- Experince with insurance sector is plus
- Hands on experience NOSQL databases (Hbase,MongoDB) is prefered
Other Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree at related fields
- Good command of the English language
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience testing and data quality assurance processes
