GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

EğitimAL Yurt Dışı Eğitim is one of the leading and prestigious overseas education consultancy firms in Turkey and Europe, providing professional services to students who wish to study abroad.

For our Istanbul headquarters in Beşiktaş, we are seeking experienced or entry-level Study Abroad Counselors—or trainees to be trained for this role—to work in the Study Abroad Counselor position.

Qualifications Sought for the Position:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Research-oriented, meticulous, well-organized, and able to work harmoniously within a team.
• For male candidates: completion of military service or exemption.
• Preferably prior experience with study abroad, Work & Travel, or Erasmus.
• Ability to communicate in English at an upper-intermediate level or above (both written and spoken).
• Ability to provide prospective students—face-to-face, by phone, or via email—with up-to-date information on studying abroad and to schedule appointments.
• Ability to plan and sell study-abroad programs with a solid command of the relevant countries’ visa procedures.
• Ability to submit applications to overseas institutions primarily using professional English and to manage correspondence in English.
• Ability to coordinate document and visa processes in collaboration with other counselors on our team.
• Ability to follow up on students’ visa procedures and post-arrival processes.
• Willingness to represent our company at international fairs or business trips held in Turkey or abroad.
• English speaking practice will also be assessed during interviews. Candidates deemed suitable for the position will, upon starting, first be included in a counselor training program.
