Job Description

  • Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
  • Take an active role in supporting and in finding the root cause of operational issues and prevent them from reoccurring.
  • Install, update and configure NoSQL Databases
  • Review and recommend client architectures for High availability and failover
  • Installation of replica sets and Sharded clusters using MongoDB in various environments

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Min. BS degree in Computer Engineering
  • Good (min. C1) level of English: Requirement for achieving product certifications in ENGLISH
  • Minimum 2 years DBA or equivalent technology consultant job experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience in basic DBA tasks:
    • database installations, replication, backups, loads, and schema alterations for both production and test databases
    • troubleshoot or configure the database issues
    • Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of performance
  • Solid experience with shell programming and automation
  • Good understanding and hands on experience of Linux/Unix platform
  • Good understanding of docker technology and containers
  • Good understanding of JSON data representation
  • Proficient with one or more NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, CouchDB, ElasticSearch, Solr, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Javascript knowledge is a must
  • Excellent in team work
  • Good adaptor into dynamic working environments
  • Male candidates need to complete or postpone military services for min. 2 years.
  • Able to travel in Turkey & abroad
