Product Inspections and Follow-up
Conducting independent QA inspections in different areas of Turkey
Inspecting materials, accessories, parts, components and products for color, measurements, labels and overall quality
Making judgment on acceptance and rejection of marginal quality cases
Preparing, consolidating, updating and filing audit reports
Providing technical advice to factories to solve production and quality problems
Specifying timeframe for factories to implement improvements
Sample Inspections
Inspecting samples (sub-assembly product samples, pilot-run samples or customers’ samples) including materials, accessories, parts, components etc.
Production Control
Communicating customers’ quality requirements to factories
Providing advice / making judgement of whether the machinery could fulfill the production needs and manufacture quality products
Checking if materials used for bulk production are of acceptable quality
Anticipating quality issues that may arise in the manufacturing process
Identify and provide solutions on production and manufacturing problems that might have impact on delivery and / or product quality
We are currently recruiting Quality Controllers for our ITX Trading Istanbul office.
University degree in textile or garment technology
Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control area on apparel products, especially in woven items
Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
Stayed with global sourcing office, brand buying office, buying agent or trader
Knowledgeable about product quality standards, textile materials, garment productions, QA and compliance
Very familiar with supplier communication and cooperation for garment manufacturing in Turkey area
Good fashion sense
Recognize the importance of meeting quality standards to meet business objectives and brand requirements
A team player who can give full effort to meeting brand’s quality standard
Open to listening and asking questions to obtain needed information and flexible to coordinate among relevant parties to resolve problem issues
Refer problems that cannot be addressed to the appropriate resources in a timely manner
Recognize importance of business relationships and how they influence outcomes
Good time management skills to meet assigned deadlines
Availability for frequent travel
