Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Benghazi, Libya

Our company is seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Engineer responsible for reviewing and approving technical documentation for high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage systems, ensuring strict compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. The role also involves regular site visits to assess the quality of executed works, verify on-site conditions, and align documentation. This position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the proper implementation of electrical systems. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for reviewing and approving submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approval of technical and project documentation for electrical systems of various voltage levels
• Conduct site inspections to control the quality of executed works and collect data necessary for reporting and documentation verification
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure efficient system implementation
• Review of electrical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain and archive documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements
• Monitor compliance with relevant standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and apply best engineering practices

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience across different types of facilities/projects
• Strong knowledge of international standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC)
• Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Responsibility, precision, and strong problem-solving skills
