About the Company
A well-established and globally active pressure vessel manufacturer, operating in full compliance with ASME Section VIII Div.1 & Div.2, is seeking a highly experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and strengthen its quality systems, certification processes, and inspection activities.

The Role
The QC Manager will take full ownership of the company’s quality control system, ensuring compliance with ASME Code requirements, managing audits, leading inspection teams, and acting as the primary interface with Authorized Inspectors and certification bodies.
This is a critical leadership role with direct impact on production quality, certification continuity, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Quality System & Certification
• Manage and maintain ASME Quality Control Manual and related procedures
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Div.1 / Div.2 requirements
• Lead ASME certification processes (U / U2 Stamp) and renewal activities
• Coordinate with Authorized Inspectors (AI) and Authorized Inspection Agencies (AIA)
• Handle audits (ASME, customer, third-party, internal)
Inspection & Production Quality
• Oversee all in-process and final inspections for pressure vessel manufacturing
• Ensure implementation of ITPs (Inspection Test Plans)
• Monitor welding, NDT, heat treatment, and dimensional inspections
• Supervise QC inspectors and shop-floor quality activities
Documentation & Traceability
• Ensure full material traceability (MTCs, HIC reports, certificates)
• Manage quality dossiers / MDR (Manufacturing Data Records)
• Review and approve technical quality documentation
Non-Conformance & Improvement
• Lead NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processes
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Improve quality KPIs and reduce rework
Customer & Supplier Interface
• Act as the main contact for client inspections and approvals
• Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance
Required Skills and ExpertiseQualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in pressure vessel manufacturing
• Strong hands-on experience with ASME Section VIII Div.1 / Div.2
• Proven experience managing ASME U / U2 Stamp certification
• Deep knowledge of:
o Welding processes & WPS/PQR qualifications
o NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT)
o Material standards (SA/A105, SA516, etc.)
• Experience working with Authorized Inspectors (AI)
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in international projects (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical)
• Familiarity with PED / EN standards is a plus
• Strong leadership and team management skills
