As a Breakfast Chef, you are responsible for the preparation and delivery of high-quality breakfast offerings across all hotel food outlets. You play a key role in ensuring guests start their day with an excellent culinary experience.
A Breakfast Chef supports the senior kitchen team and ensures smooth breakfast service by performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of all breakfast items in line with company quality standards
- Manage timely production and service of breakfast operations during early shifts
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Avoid wastage and support cost control in food preparation
- Prepare a variety of breakfast items including hot and cold buffet selections, egg stations, pastries, and dietary-specific requests
- Provide active support to the kitchen brigade during breakfast service rush hours
- Ensure all mise en place is completed before service begins
What are we looking for?
A Breakfast Chef serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and collaborating with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the following attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
- A current, valid, and relevant professional cookery qualification (proof may be required)
- Previous experience as a Commis de Cuisine, Breakfast Chef, or similar kitchen role in a hotel environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
- Ability to work early shifts and under time pressure during breakfast service
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and consistency in food presentation
- Passion for breakfast cuisine and guest satisfaction
- A strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
