We are looking for the Human Resources Manager for our unique property, Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim

What will I be doing?

Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing first-class team member relations services to the General Manager and management team to deliver an excellent team member experience while assisting in building the Human Resources strategy and executing accordingly. Also will be required to support employee relations and ensure compliance with team member training requirements. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Provide and deliver first-class Team Member Relations services to General Manager and management team
• Assist General Manager with Human Resources strategy including succession planning for team members
• Manage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinary, grievances, and capability
• Take role in candidate interviews and hiring process
• Ensure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate legal checks are carried out
• Make sure employee food, lockers, back of the house are up to Hilton standards
• Help achieve departmental goals
• Control costs when possible and assist in meeting hotel/departmental financial targets
• Ensure pay reviews/absence monitoring/wage queries are managed in line with company guidelines
• Assist and resolve team member and management queries

• Excellent command of Turkish and English
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same or similar role
• Knowledge of Turkish Labour Law and regulations
• IT proficiency- Microsoft Office knowledge
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
• Hilton Hotels experience is an advantage
