Job Title : Floor Supervisor
Work Location : Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center
Reporting To : Executive Housekeeper

What will I be doing?

As a Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the floors and rooms under your responsibility within the Housekeeping Department are operated in accordance with cleanliness, order, and hygiene standards, as well as planning, coordinating, and monitoring the performance of Maid and Houseman teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Plan, organize, and follow up on the daily operations of the floors under his/her responsibility.
• Assign daily duties to Maid and Houseman personnel and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
• Ensure that the workload is distributed fairly and evenly among the personnel.
• Ensure that the floors and rooms are cleaned on time and in accordance with the defined standards by planning the necessary personnel and equipment.
• Check daily Check-Out (C/O) and Occupied (OCC) rooms; ensure that cleanliness, hygiene, order, and room standards are fully implemented.
• Check guest rooms, service corridors, linen areas, and the materials and equipment used in Housekeeping operations.
• Report missing, defective, or replacement-needed equipment and materials to the relevant managers.
• Plan and follow up on periodic cleaning required for rooms.
• Check whether supplies and consumable materials used in guest rooms are consumed correctly and in accordance with standards.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is used correctly, safely, and for its intended purpose.
• Check whether equipment and materials are being used incorrectly or improperly and take the necessary action when required.
• Ensure that correct cleaning methods are applied by Maid personnel and provide on-site guidance when necessary.
• Be present and provide the necessary support during inventory activities carried out by the Executive Housekeeper.
• When necessary, consult the Assistant Executive Housekeeper regarding issues encountered during operations and provide suggestions for solutions.
• Ensure that the personnel under his/her responsibility perform their duties effectively and monitor their performance.
• Ensure the continuity of departmental training and support the communication of new practices to the team.
• Provide personnel with training on reporting, Lost & Found procedures, and handover processes.
• Ensure that personnel comply with personal grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance standards.

• Preferably graduated from Tourism, Hospitality, Accommodation, or related departments.
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Floor Supervisor in the Housekeeping department.
• Experienced in managing Maid and Houseman teams, work allocation, and operational follow-up.
• Knowledge of room cleaning, hygiene standards, Housekeeping operations, and hotel quality standards.
• Experienced in monitoring Check-Out (C/O), Occupied (OCC), VIP, and similar room statuses.
• Knowledge of Housekeeping reports, room statuses, and daily operational records.
• Knowledge of Lost & Found processes and hotel procedures.
• Guest satisfaction and service quality oriented.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Team-oriented and capable of collaborating with other departments.
