In this role you will

Aircraft Painter is responsible for aircraft/component and its sub-assemblies painting, paint removal and sealing process including surface preparation, masking, and chemicals handling. May include limited duties of paint and sealant application.

• Prepare surfaces to be painted or sealed as requested by the working instructions using abrasives, solvents, and brushes.
• Install masking strips or other aircraft painting details.
• Mix stirs and thins paint or other coatings, using spatula or power mixing equipment.
• Perform spraying of base and top coatings assuring compliance with technical and quality requirements
• Perform sealant application assuring compliance with technical and quality requirements.
• Apply or installs logos, symbols, or designs on painted surfaces, according to blueprint specifications, using measuring instruments, stencils, and patterns.
• Ensure the use of appropriate technical references and tools in performing paint and sealing duties.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all currently used painting or sealing equipment.
• Set up ladders, scaffolding and access platforms according to regulations and aircraft requirement.
• Ensure all local environmental and safety regulations are complied with.

• Basic knowledge of painting methods and techniques (Ability on paint spraying (electrostatic, pneumatic, HVLP, airless, etc.), especially familiarization on electrostatic painting method is a plus.)
• Graduated at least from high school (Graduation from Technical High School with a focus on painting, or having completed painting-related coursework, is preferred.)
• Previous experience in any painting-related role is considered an advantage.
• English skills would be an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in aircraft/component painting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety procedures.
• Self-motivated, strong time management, high attention to details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work shifts
• Living in or willing to relocate to Istanbul (Asia Side)
