Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Buyer responsible for plastic and metal components in the Haier Europe Turkey Purchasing Team.

The position is located in Eskisehir.

Manage the purchasing activities for plastic and metal components,
Manage the related scouting activities and finalize the approval procedures to reach the yearly saving targets,
Monthly & daily communication with Italy,
Follow up the budget and manage cost-down activities to reduce the purchasing volume,
Evaluate and manage the cost breakdown analyses to handle the purchasing activities correctly,
Follow up, evaluate and improve the supplier quality index.

Required Skills and Expertise

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Minimum 2 years experience in purchasing or the home appliance industry,
Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills,
Excellent written and verbal communication in English,
Excellent knowledge of MS Office,
A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
Flexible and open to new perspectives,
No military obligation (for male candidates),
Living or willing to live in Eskişehir.
