Logistic Engineer

DENTAŞ AMBALAJ VE KAĞIT SAN. - Logistic Engineer

For our corrugated board and packaging Plant in Eskisehir, we are looking for a Logistic Engineer. This role will be responsible for:

• Responsible for all logistics activities in plant located in Eskişehir
• Following up and control all the invoices related to transportation & warehousing,
• Manage and track transactions to cost control,
• Being in charge of company’s distribution budget optimization,
• Control all logistics activities in terms of cost management, efficiency and customer satisfaction,
• Planning and leading saving projects in line with company goals and strategies, revealing and optimizing saving needs in distribution/warehousing processes,
• Establishing a performance-based pricing strategy in all contracts in order to guarantee certain service level,
• Handling benchmark studies, market research, WMS TMS technology research,
• Defining, tracking and reporting all logistics KPI’s measuring operational efficiency and emphasizing operational risks,
• Ensuring that distribution operations are in line with company policy and quality standards,
• Working together with production &logistics, following up of transportation market and potential suppliers.

• Bachelor’s Degree from Industrial Engineering or similar engineering departments,
• At least 2 years of experince in relevant fields,
• Good command of English,
• Good understanding of Supply Chain practices, mainly logistics operations,
• Know-how of Supply Chain related systems and technologies (ERP, WMS and TMS,),
• Able to work as a team,
• Ability of analytical thinking and good negotiating skills,
• Has organizational skills,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• No travel restrictions,
• Resident in Eskişehir.
